Stitching the splinters of my broken board.

The other day out surfing with 3 friends of mine at third headland I made the drop on a less than large wave and managed to wipe out with little or no grace, when I surfaced my board had split along the grain from the tail to the nose, the crack was over 6 feet long. Saving each splinter I've been nurturing the paulownia, drying it, and searching for the best way to bring lani back to the water.
