trees in the water

Spent the day today surfing at main beach and then Southies in Sawtell. Lani, my Alaia springs to life in the water, Paulownia wood with bees wax a simple natural way to connect with the ocean. The board flexes and I can feel every ripple beneath my feet. It's all so natural, soo organic. When I'm in the water I'm completely lost in what I'm doing, so lost that I'm present to everything, every little change movement and element that surrounds me; through this I find myself, here, now in the moment. There were and are no ordinary moments, nor will there be. If tomorrow morning the sky falls, have clouds for breakfast.
Mahalo nui loa Kai.
